Trinity Foot and South Herts Beagles

Hunt type: Beagles
Areas: Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire
Country: England
Contact information may be out of date so has been hidden.
Hunt country: The country is large, stretching between Peterborough in the north and St Albans in the south , from Tring in the west to Newmarket in the east. It is the countries of the Trinity Foot and the S Herts and is not contiguous, the W Lodge Bassets hunting a country around Royston in the middle. Hunting is confined mostly to the Cambridgeshire Fens and an area centred on Luton. It is very varied though mostly arable. The Fens have a distinctive charm and the land around Kimpton and Ivinghoe remarkably unspoilt so close to London.
History: The hunt is the result of an amalgamation in 2003 which sought to continue the tradition of beagling at Cambridge University maintained by the Trinity Foot and that of hunting in Hertfordshire where the S Herts country was coming under pressure from increasing urbanisation
The Hunt goes out 2 or 3 days a week and aims to provide sport in a happy atmosphere. Our hounds are certainly not the prettiest nor the best but they show good sport close to London. All are welcome.
